  • Seoul Important Intangible Cultural Receiving Center

    There are 12 Gongbang (demonstration room of making handicraft) within the receiving center. These Gongbang provide spreading knowledge of important intangible cultural assets and to train the upcoming generations. In the permanent exhibition on the 2nd floor of Gongyaedong, works of function holders are exhibited, and special planned exhibition is held in the plan gallery on the 3rd floor.

    "Son's Home” is a house of Son family which opened as a place of cultural family experience for foreigners. Foreigners who are interested in Korea are able to see the sincere life of Koreans at this place. People visiting Son’s home can make Kimchi with the mother, wear Hanbok to learn Jangu, or grind the Four Gracious Plants to eat, and many other new experiences that have not been explored with a typical Korean family.

    Place of Korean culture experience and understanding. It is a facility where local citizens and foreigners can all enjoy. There are facilities such as, art hall, traditional school of handicraft taught by the victors, traditional tea house, cultural heritage exhibition to explore souvenirs and traditional handicrafts, and exploring room of traditional culture.

    Horim Art Center was established by the Sungbo Culture Foundation. There are three buildings which combines to form a town.
