Seolleung and Jeongneung, these two monuments are the precious cultural heritage of Korea designated in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Seonjeongneung is a term that is combined with Seolleung and Jeongneung, which is the historical record of 199th. It means the royal tomb of the kings/queens of the Joseon Dynasty. Seolleung is the royal tomb of Seongjong(reigned, 1457~1494), the ninth king of the Joseon Dynasty and his third wife, the Junghyeon queen(1462~1530), and Jeongneung is the royal tomb of the 11th King Joongjong (1488~1544).

Tomb of Gwangpyeongdaegun

The most well-preserved original tomb of the royal offspring in the Seoul area. It is located in Daemo mountain of Suseo-dong which was once called as Gungmal or Gungcheon. The total area is 125,237 pyeong within the Gwangpyeongdaegun tomb as well as presenting a grand sight of 700 other tombs. Go-ok, the second wife in the family also lies here.
